24-year-old producer/DJ BKAYE, née Brian Kelley, has released his debut single “Glue” via Lowly Records. Hailing from San Francisco, BKAYE is most notable for a string of remixes including Major Lazer's “Be Together” and Ed Sheeran's “Shape of You,” as well as official remixes for The Chainsmokers, Post Malone, and Bebe Rexha.
Written by singer-songwriter Klei (Filous, Midnight Kids) and Max Grimmer, “Glue” portrays a “more mature sound” for BKAYE, one he says, “blends a multitude of genres together beyond just dance music,” which includes indie and alternative elements. Since graduating from Trinity College, BKAYE moved to L.A. and is gearing up for more releases this year. BKAYE is currently repped by Tim Vita. Stay tuned for more and stream “Glue” below.
To recognize and celebrate International Women's Day (3/8), TOKiMONSTA—a.k.a. Jennifer Lee—has released “One Day.” The track is written, produced and performed solely by women and features Bibi Bourelly and Jean Deaux. It also marks the third single from Lee’s upcoming LP, Oasis Nocturno.
The forthcoming album will be released on Young Art Record label, with Lee as label head, under a new deal with Ingooves Music Group. The deal comes on heels of Lee’s Grammy nominated Lune Rouge album, which was the first time an Asian-American producer and the first time a female was up for the award.
"A recent Annenberg study found that less than 3% of all charting tracks were produced by women. That's why we thought it was important to release “One Day,” a song which was composed, produced, mixed and performed by women, in honor of International Women's Day,” said TOKiMONSTA.
"We are thrilled to be working with TOKiMONSTA, an extraordinarily talented creative force in music and a shrewd label head as well," said Amy Dietz, EVP/GM of Ingrooves Music Group. "We're excited to put the full weight of our global distribution and marketing network behind TOKiMONSTA and this amazing and important track."

Artist/producer Gareth Emery is giving fans a refreshing trance production on his latest single, “You Are” f/Emily Vaughn, release via Create Music Goup. Hailing from the U.K., the British artist has also announced that the single is the final track to be released before his forthcoming album, his first since 2016.
While there’s no date yet on when the album drops, Emery hints a return to his pre-electronic days and is taking a unique approach to the project. Steering away from multiple collaborators and songwriters, the album is written entirely by Emery and will feature only one vocalist.
Best known for his previous his projects like Northern Lights and 100 Reasons to Live in addition to his hit single “Concrete Angel,” Emery has racked up millions of streams across platforms and boasts 1.6m monthly Spotify listeners a month.
In addition to working on his album, Emery is headed for a tour run, Decade: All The Hits 2010-2020. The tour kicks off in Sacramento on 3/26 and has stops in cities such as L.A., Vancouver, Boston and N.Y. Tickets are on sale now and can be found here.
Emery is currently managed by Kassy Ruimy. Stream “You Are” below.
