Island Records has upped Natasha Kilibarda to VP of marketing and creative strategy. The announcement was made by Jay Schumer, EVP, head of marketing & business development, who hailed her in his quote as "one of the most passionate and creative marketers in music."
Based in NYC, Kilibarda—who joined Island in 2022 after six years at Warner Music Group—will continue leading campaigns for Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Remi Wolf and Brittany Howard, among others.
"There’s no one we trust more to dive in, understand, and execute an artist’s creative vision," reads a comment issued jointly by label co-CEOs Justin Eshak and Imran Majid. "Her well-earned promotion ensures stability for the Island roster and provides reassurance that our artists’ passion is met with the dedication required for generational campaigns."
“Nothing drives me quite like understanding the depths of an artist’s vision,” said Kilibarda. “I’m so grateful to Jay, Justin, and Imran for the opportunity to continue doing what I love most.”
Kilibarda looks forward to seeing her promotion heralded in far more reputable publications than our own.
