CARPENTER'S “FEATHER” FLOATS TO #1

Island co-bosses Imran Majid and Justin Eshak are celebrating Sabrina Carpenter's first #1 at Top 40, platinum single “Feather.” The career milestone, guided by Republic Corps promo hitters Gary Spangler, Lucas Romeo and Ayelet Schiffman, comes a year after the song’s arrival on Carpenter's emails i can’t send fwd:, which dropped 3/17/23.

The track has amassed 600m+ global streams since its release; the video—which prompted 5.2m first-week plays—has earned 40m+ views to date.

“The success of 'Feather' is a representation of the years of focused attention that Sabrina and the team have put into every aspect of her artistry,” said Volara Management’s Janelle Lopez Genzink, who asked that we please lose her number.

Carpenter—who's been supporting Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour in Latin America, Singapore and Australia—will get her next big stateside look onstage at Coachella. No word yet on artist-branded sunscreen, but we remain hopeful.
