Reprise's Disturbed have topped the HITS Album Sales Chart with 89k and the Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) Chart with 92k for their first album in five years, Immortalized.
Luke Bryan's Kill the Lights (Capitol Nashville) drops a mere 44% to #2, earning another 59k, while Dr. Dre's Compton, up 2%, remains at #3 and rakes in another 44k for Aftermath/Interscope.
MCA Nashville's Kip Moore debuts at #4, and Rob Thomas follows closely behind, bowing at #5.
Bon Jovi's Burning Bridges (Island) and Ghost's Meliora (Loma Vista) debut in the Top 10 at #7 and #8, respectively. Meanwhile, debuts from Stax/Concord's Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats (#11), Schoolboy/Interscope's Carly Rae Jepsen (#14) and eOne's Pop Evil (#15) all appear in the Top 15.
Thanks to Universal's hugely successful N.W.A. biopic, Straight Outta Compton, the iconic rap group's 1988 album (and the film's namesake) holds strong at #9.
A1/Freebandz/Epic's Future reaps the benefits of streaming, as he sees a #10-21 difference when comparing SPS to album sales alone.
