BRANDI CARLILE’S VIRUTAL CONCERT BENEFIT
5/28/20

Brandi Carlile is gearing up for an intimate performance of her Grammy award-winning album By The Way, I Forgive You via Veeps on 6/1. Kicking off at 6pm PT/9pm ET, all proceeds made during the virtual concert will benefit the Looking Out Foundation’s COVID-19 Relief Fund as well as her band and crew.

Performing alongside bandmates Phil and Tim Hanseroth and Josh Neumann on her birthday, the singer/songwriter’s virtual concert is the first in a series of on-going full album performances. Earlier this month, she launched Carlile Compound Quarantine exclusively for her fan club, the Bramily. “In a changed world, I believe I will find catharsis in playing the album that changed my life,” says Carlile.

Veeps’ Founder Joel Madden adds, "Brandi is loved and respected by music fans, as well as her fellow artists, and it’s inspiring to see how she is using Veeps to navigate these challenging times in such a positive way. I’m personally touched to watch Brandi and her fans come together in support of her touring family and crew, and I know how much that means to them."

LINK WITH BEATSOURCE
5/27/20

A new era in DJ technology has arrived as Beatsource, the music streaming service for open format DJs created by Beatport and DJcity, has launched LINK, a new technology with access to millions of tracks from multiple genres of music that allows DJs to stream music directly into their software. Beatsource LINK will also feature an Offline Performance Mode, providing the ability to store up to 100 songs in a locker that can be used without internet connection.

Additionally, a vast number of curated genre, artist and occasion-themed playlists will be available through Pioneer DJ’s rekordbox. “Being able to play nearly any track I can think of directly from rekordbox is a huge benefit, making it faster than ever before to access this huge library of music,” says MistaJam, DJ and BBC Radio1’s Dance Anthem host.

Trialed by top DJs like A-Trak, DJ White Shadow and MistaJam, the Beta version is available now with rekordbox DJ software for 30-days. Beatsource LINK PRO and PRO+ will also be available and allows LINK subscribers to stream higher-quality audio while online or download tracks to an offline storage locker of 50 to 100 tracks. MIQUEL ANGEL’S “WHO”
5/26/20

Singer/songwriter Miquel Angel recently released his debut single “Who” on 5/22. Dealing with self-improvement in the face of bullying, the acoustic track manages to create a unique atmosphere and comes off Angel’s debut album.

Angel’s musical roots began as early as the age of 3 when he learned how to play the violin. By the age of 8, he already knew how to play the drums, the marimba and the guitar. The multi-instrumentalist developed his own sound and stored an archive of unshared originals, until now.

Keep a close eye on Angel for more releases throughout the year. Until then, stream “Who” below.
