TOP-SHELF "HIGH"
8/28/20

Singer/songwriter SHOCKEY has made quite a splash with his debut single, “HIGH.” Released via Laurel Pass Records, the stoner anthem arrives alongside a music video that’s interlaced with nostalgic clips like Hey Arnold and Tom & Jerry, to a mid-inhale Elon Musk and friends doing what they do best when they smoke together—chilling.

An amalgamation of Wiz Khalifa, Surfaces and Sublime, “High” is that lo-fi alt-rock track that reminds you of all the reasons you grab a joint and get stoned. With groovy guitar riffs and a head-bopping tempo, you’ll find yourself lighting one up to this track in no time.

LA-based pop duo Two Neighbors have plenty to celebrate as they’ve officially dropped their self-titled EP. Arriving via CloudKid Records on 8/28, the 5-track EP channels the moods of quarantine and embodies the familiar feelings of uncertainty mixed with deep hopefulness.

“EP is inspired by longing.. longing for success, love, for the past, the experience of someone trying to find their own sound and path,” said the duo.

Consisting of vocalist/songwriter Sophie and producer Andre, the Two Neighbors first started putting out music together in 2019 and have built a solid fan base since. With over 100k monthly listeners, it's safe to say they’re the kind of neighbors you don’t avoid.
