WHAT IT IS: Vlad Holiday explores the complexities of love and relationships through a darker sonic lens, creating a space where listeners can find solace from life’s more challenging moments. After garnering 40m+ global streams as an independent artist, Holiday is gearing up for his debut album, which features the sultry single “I Don’t Want to Party Anymore,” w/Kacey Musgraves and Matt Schultz of Cage the Elephant. Blending old-school crooner vocals with hip-hop beats, spaghetti western-inspired guitars drenched in spring reverb and a touch of Phil Spector-esque percussion, the album evokes the atmospheric qualities of 1960s Paris, reminiscent of Serge Gainsbourg, while incorporating jazzy elements akin to Amy Winehouse and Billie Holiday.
