WHAT IT IS: Singer-songwriter Dylan Gossett has made his mark with dusty instrumentation, gravelly vocal delivery and emotionally vulnerable lyrics. The Austin native, who began posting his self-written music online last spring, caught fire that summer with his indie debut single, “To Be Free,” which garnered 11m+ Spotify streams. Follow-up single “Coal” catalyzed his breakthrough, amassing 77m+ Spotify streams to date. Gossett will drop his next single, “Bitter Winds,” this February.
