WHAT IT IS: Following her standout performance at the BET Hip-Hop Awards Cypher, Lady London has unveiled her latest project, S.O.U.L. (short for “Signs of Universal Love”) Executive-produced by Lady London and Jeremy “J Dot” Jones, the conceptual album weaves an astrological theme through its tracks. S.O.U.L. examines the intricacies of love languages, do’s and don’ts, triggers and the celestial mechanisms that drive us. Earlier this year, Lady released the viral freestyle “Pop Ya Shit,” which garnered millions of plays across YouTube, Instagram and Spotify and initiated the weekly freestyle series “Lady Londays,” earning praise from Busta Rhymes, Lupe Fiasco, Timbaland, Nas and more.
