Mulatto (RCA)
2/4/21

WHAT IT IS: For over a decade, 22-year-old Atlanta rapper Mulatto has been making a name for herself in her hometown, and she’s now reaping the fruits of her labor. Her RCA debut project, 2020’s Queen of Da Souf, generated 261m+ global streams, while “Bitch From Da Souf” f/Saweetie & Trina was certified gold, making her the first solo female rapper from Atlanta with that distinction. She’s also one of the just two women inducted into XXL’s 2020 Freshman Class. Mulatto’s pen game, replete with witty and raw verses, has solidified her as part of the new wave of female rappers destined for success in 2021.
