Bobby Sessions (Def Jam)
2/4/21

WHAT IT IS: Using his music to express the experience of systemic racism that oppresses African Americans in our society, Bobby Sessions draws on classic hip-hop for his aggressive, authentic and soulful sound. In this socially and politically charged climate, the singer/songwriter brings a powerful voice for change and is not afraid to speak his mind on racial inequalities. The Texas native was recently nominated for a Grammy as the co-writer of Megan Thee Stallion’s platinum single, “Savage” (the remix of which, f/Beyoncé, topped charts worldwide). Garnering acclaim for his lead track from the film The Hate U Give and his RVLTN EP series, Sessions also recently linked up with Houston native Lecrae for the official remix to “Made a Way” and is gearing up for the Coming 2 America Official Motion Picture Soundtrack.
