Consisting of Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson Scott, Gorgon City have amassed 1.7b+ global streams and 13 BRIT-certified singles throughout their career, including hits like “Voodoo,” "You’ve Done Enough," “Nobody” and more.
The pair recently announced their fifth album, Reverie, due 7/19, along with the project’s lead singles “Biggest Regret” f/Bbyafricka and “All That You Need” f/Caroline Byrne. They’re also slated to perform multiple summer dates, including a residency at LIV Las Vegas, plus shows at N.Y.’s Brooklyn Mirage, L.A.’s Shrine and Ushuaia in Ibiza.
Meanwhile, rising U.K. producer/DJ Riordan is buzzing in the electronic world with his techno house hit, “Needle on the Record,” which recently reached #1 on Beatport.
“We're so happy to be extending our partnership with SMP and signing Riordan as the first artist to our brand-new publishing company REALM. It's the start of an exciting new chapter for us and we can't wait to get started,” said the duo.
“I’m so excited to be signing my first publishing deal with REALM and Sony,” added Riordan. “Gorgon City have been my biggest supporters and mentors in these early stages of my career and it feels great to grow and continue that relationship together.”
“We are thrilled to extend our long-standing relationship with Gorgon City, and the trust they have placed in us to partner as they launch their REALM publishing company. Gorgon City are skilled at spotting talent early, they are on the ground hearing things first and hands-on in developing artists and songwriters,” shared Senior A&R Manager, U.K., SMP, Adrienne Bookbinder.
