Edgar Barrera was nominated in the Songwriter category for a second year following the success of Karol G, Carin Leon and Peso Pluma, among others. A Producer of the Year nod went to Dan Nigro for Chappell's The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess and “Good Luck, Babe!,” which also earned him Record and Song noms. But that was only the beginning for SMP. USHER, Tems, Latto, Lainey Wilson, Ashley Gorley, Noah Kahan, Shakira, Anitta and Marc Anthony were just a sliver of the many artists also recognized for their musical works in 2024. As for us, we were recognized for being the worst.
