ATLAS PUB JONESING FOR QUINCY
9/11/19

Atlas Music Publishing has announced a joint venture with legendary producer Quincy Jones. The Atlas/Quincy relationship dates back to when key Atlas executives, CEO Richard Stumpf and COO/Partner Phil Cialdella, worked with Quincy at Cherry Lane Music.

Said Atlas founder Stumpf, “My history with Quincy dates back to the mid-2000s. I’ve never met a more inspiring and gracious person, with such worldly knowledge. Through this joint venture, Atlas is humbled to be able to support Quincy, Adam Fell and the rest of the Quincy Jones team as they bring the best out of young writers who, like us, are drawn to his magic.”

Added Jones, "It's an absolute honor to join forces with Atlas, and my brothers Rich and Scooter (Braun), to create a home for not only incredible musicians, but incredible songs. We're looking forward to creating a publishing community filled with only the best of the best songs AND human beings.”

Earlier this year, Atlas was acquired by Ithaca Holdings which is led by Braun. This partnership brings Atlas' writers an unparalleled level of connectivity to today’s biggest music stars.

“Quincy Jones is an undeniable legend. It’s an honor to have him as a partner in our publishing business, making the possibilities of what we can provide to our writers and artists endless,” said Braun.

Quincy then donned his signature scarf, waved a wizard's wand, and rode off on a unicorn into a cloud of hashish smoke.
