Richard Stumpf, Atlas Music Group founder and CEO, announced the expansion of its Urban Department with Latoya Lee as the VP of Creative.
Home to pop and rock songs by Van Halen, John Legend, Demi Lovato, and Ed Sheeran, Atlas Music Publishing is ready to bolster their foundation in Urban music. Stumpf says, “Atlas is in growth mode. Urban music is arguably the most critical genre today. It was imperative that we partnered with someone who brings an ear for finding great talent and the hustle to work writers once they are in the family.”
Lee, formerly part of WMG’s A&R team, adds what drew her into Atlas was “their artist-first philosophy and the excitement of being able to build out a great roster."
Stumpf is eager to have a new team player, “Latoya has proven her creative chops, is a go-getter and is the perfect fit for Atlas. She’s also a great bowler, and that never hurts!”
We're also known as great bowlers, as we have an uncanny talent for making the ball go behind the pins.
