Warner/Chappell Music announced the signing of renowned composer Alan Menken to a global publishing deal.

Menken, who has notably earned multiple Grammy, Oscar and Golden Globe awards plus a Tony among many other laurels, is best-known for his Disney and Broadway scores. The freshly inked deal with W/C will see the pubco administering his entire catalog, excluding select Disney works.

“Alan is unquestionably one of the greatest songwriters and composers of our lifetime, and his commitment to his craft represents everything we stand for at Warner/Chappell," said W/C Chairman & CEO Jon Platt. "We’re honored to count him among our first-rate theatre repertoire, and excited for the many opportunities ahead.”

“I’ve had so many exciting chapters in my career; too many to mention, without making me feel really old. But nothing has excited me more than embarking on this new chapter in association with Warner/Chappell Music,” said Menken.
