RIDING THE ROD WAVE

Rod Wave released his sixth album, Last Lap (Alamo), on 10/11, and four of its 23 songs are leading Apple Music's Top 100: USA chart; at #1 is "25," followed by the title track, "Federal Nightmares" and "Angel With an Attitude."

The Florida rapper-singer's hot streak likewise dominates the Top 10 (with the exceptions of GloRilla's "WHATCHU KNO ABOUT ME" f/Sexyy Red and Billie Eilish's "BIRDS OF A FEATHER," sitting at #5 and #10, respectively).

Last Lap succeeds 2023's Nostalgia, another chart-topper for Wave. The set moved more than 137k units in its opening week, making it Wave's third #1 album. It remained in the top spot the following week and was certified platinum on 9/16, a year and a day after its release. Listen to his latest below while we ride the Rod wave.
