NOISEMAKERS:
THEY'RE BUZZING

In our latest roundup, we present eight more stars of tomorrow from various parts of the biz whose dedication and effort make their superiors look good.

Making us look good is above their pay grade.

Amy Collins
A&R, Columbia

Collins cherishes aiding Jessie Murph’s rise, celebrating the 2x-platinum “Wild Ones” f/Jelly Roll’s Top 40 success, peaking at #15, and her new single “Dirty” f/Teddy Swims. She also facilitated The Kid LAROI and Lil Yachty’s collaboration on “Hatred,” a crowd favorite on the former’s The First Time Tour. Currently, she’s launching Bebe Stockwell and overseeing the rollout of LAROI’s deluxe album and Murph’s debut set. A former college track athlete, Collins eagerly supports the U.S. Olympic Women’s Track Team. Just thinking about it makes us reach for our inhaler.

Marc Geylman
Managing Partner, The Zia Firm, PLLC

Geylman’s transition to L.A. life hit a high note when he dined on sushi with firm client French Montana at a Grammy party. Now, he’s helping structure deals for clients like Kavi and Rich the Kid, clearing rights for Bayker Blankenship’s debut EP and prepping agreements for Tommy Richman’s next album. He’s also dedicated to helping artists maintain independence, from creating investment vehicles for projects like Daniel Allan’s to securing strategic partners for Soulection and VOILÀ. Geylman was once a competitive hockey player. We couldn’t even tie our skates.

Bella Smith
Director, A&R, Interscope

Smith’s career-defining moment came while working in a sweltering Dubai studio at 7pm with Yo Gotti and GloRilla as they wrapped up her EhhThang EhhThang EP. The project produced hits like “Yeah Glo,” which became the year’s longest-charting single by a female rapper, and the platinum, chart-topping “Wanna Be.” Currently, Smith is developing new tracks for GloRilla, Moneybagg Yo, DaBaby and rising R&B talent Lehla Samia. Nicki Minaj once advised her to pursue a career in A&R. Most folks wish we’d chosen a different industry.

Alex Ciasnocha
Manager, Ad Strategy, Warner Music Nashville

Ciasnocha was proud to orchestrate the “Songs of Many Colors” showcase, spotlighting queer voices in country music and reflecting his commitment to diversity and inclusion, and work on his largest campaign for Bailey Zimmerman’s Religiously. The Album. Recently, he prepared Avery Anna’s debut album campaign and is excited to collaborate with the Country Music Hall of Fame on a Grammy push for From Where I Stand: The Black Experience in Country Music. His first concert was Hannah Montana f/Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers—truly the best of both worlds. We were already old then.

Alex John
Senior Director, Publicity, RCA

John’s standout career moments include propelling Blxst’s rise during her time at Red Bull Records, from his debut EP to his late-night debut on The Tonight Show. At RCA since 2022, she’s led the U.S. press for P!NK’s album TRUSTFALL and helped break Tyler Childers’ platinum hit “In Your Love,” which earned multiple Grammy noms. She’s now boosting Myles Smith’s “Stargazing” and leading the campaign for JADE’s “Angel of My Dreams,” among other projects. John’s an award-winning visual artist, once a staple at the Detroit Festival of the Arts. Our drawings seriously alarmed our psychiatrist.

Tony Tuesday
A&R, ONErpm

Tuesday fondly recalls unforgettable moments like meeting Jay-Z at Roc Nation while he was an intern and contributing to albums like The Carters and Meek Mill’s Championships. More recently, he’s been on the road signing top streaming hip-hop acts, including Memphis’s Eddie Valero, who’s earned 20m+ streams in the last year and saw his latest album Undefeated debut at #57 on Apple Music’s Top 200 Hip-Hop/Rap Album charts. Meanwhile, Tuesday swears, “I am hilarious. I’ve been told I’m funny my whole life.” People laugh at us. Does that count?

Macie Camp
Digital Coordinator, The CORE Entertainment

Camp will never forget attending Stagecoach with the team to watch clients Nickelback, Bailey Zimmerman, Nate Smith and Josh Ross perform. Presently, she’s all about creative and digital marketing for VALLEY’s upcoming album, Water the Flowers, Pray for a Garden, due 8/30. She also recently worked on Anna Graves’ latest EP, Solstice, and has been instrumental in helping develop Brandon Wisham, who was on tour with Zimmerman earlier this year. Camp was nearly featured in the Hannah Montana movie when she was seven years old. We always end up on the cutting-room floor.

Joe Wiseman
Head of Insomniac Music Group

For Wiseman, nothing tops standing on EDC Las Vegas’ mainstage and hearing 80,000 people belt out the lyrics to songs he’s helped put out. “Being a part of that process from start to finish is the most gratifying moment I can think of,” he says. Next up, he’s excited for the launch of the company’s publishing roster and studios at Insomniac HQ, the next step in building a full-service music department. Wiseman’s initial foray into the music biz involved selling his rap mixtapes in high school for $5. In a related story, we were regularly shaken down for our lunch money.
