MORGAN's MONSTER CONTINUES ITS WORLD DOMINATION (UPDATE)

3/6 UPDATE: As predicted, Morgan Wallen's One Thing at a Time (Big Loud/Mercury/Republic) is massive. The album currently sits at #1 in the U.S., and Wallen is the most-streamed artist globally.

At Spotify, 15 of One Thing's tracks are in the Top 30, including #1 single "Last Night." On Apple Music's Top 100 U.S. chart, meanwhile, 13 of Wallen's new songs are in the Top 15 and 27 are in the Top 30. One could say he "wrote the book" on how to succeed in life. We, on the other hand, did not.

On 3/3, the day it was released, Wallen's One Thing at a Time earned 53m streams on Spotify, 31 songs from the set entered the platform's Top 50 and Wallen soared to #1 on the Spot's daily artist chart, jumping 31 spots.

Less than 24 hours after dropping, Wallen’s One Thing at a Time (Big Loud/Mercury/Republic) has officially become Spotify’s most-streamed country album in a single day by a male artist. The 36-track release now also qualifies as 2023's biggest streaming debut in any genre, the company has announced.

It may only be March, but One Thing at a Time is already a contender for the biggest album of 2023. And it makes sense given that the set is the follow-up to Wallen's juggernaut Dangerous: The Double Album, 2021's biggest full-length, which has racked up more than 7m units YTD.

One Thing is currently the #1 album at both Spotify and Apple Music. By Saturday (3/5), Wallen occupied the Top 22 of Apple Music's U.S. Top Songs chart, with lead single "Last Night" at #1, followed by "Born With a Beer in My Hand." "Last Night" moved to #1 on Spotify U.S. with 3m+ daily streams.

How much more DSP real estate will the country disruptor claim in the coming days? Stay tuned.
