MORGAN'S TIME HAS COME

Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time has hit the marketplace, and prognosticators are prognosticating eye-popping first-week numbers for the year’s first major album release—a sprawling 36-song set from the next-gen country superstar.

So what’s the over/under on this potential monster, and how high can it go? As always, we’re clueless, but rest assured that we’ll be poring over the streaming and sales stats as they come in to give you up-to-the-minute reads throughout the week.

Lead single “Last Night” remains lodged at #1 at Apple Music and in the Top 5 of Spotify U.S.

One Thing arrives just days after the Big Loud/Mercury/Republic act’s 2021 juggernaut, Dangerous: The Double Album, rumbled past 7 million units ATD.

Wallen is celebrating the release tonight with a free show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. "Everyone’s asking me why I’m not doing a Tennessee show; I’m doing one now. Friday, 3/3. See you there,” Wallen said in a Facebook video post with ticket details. The in-the-round acoustic show will start at 7:30pm CST.

Morgan is pictured at the Los Angeles listening party for One Thing with Monte Lipman, Big Loud chief Seth England, Avery Lipman and Mercury's Tyler Arnold. Later, upon hearing that HITS’ Todd Hensley was on the premises, the people seen here quickly skedaddled.
