“Three on a couch is better luck than three on a match,” Brandon Silverstein, left, tells new signing Marty MARO, center, and Ryan Tedder.
Producer, songwriter and mix engineer Marty MARO, who's worked with Selena Gomez and John Legend, has signed a publishing deal with Brandon Silverstein Publishing and Ryan Tedder’s Patriot Publishing.
“I’ve been lucky enough to watch Marty work in the studio and I’ve seen how he’s able to help artists create their best work,” Silverstein said. “I’m so thrilled to have him join the family.” Added Tedder: “Marty’s a beast with an insatiable work ethic.”
Aside from Gomez and Legend, MARO, whose real surname is Rod, has produced and written for Silverstein-managed Anitta, Bastille, DJ Snake and many others. His work has been featured in global ad campaigns for Meta and Madden 23 and synced in feature films, including Legend’s “Crowd Go Crazy" in Space Jam.
MARO also had nice things to say about Silverstein and Tedder: “They are both forces of nature in the business and their belief in my vision and musical ability, along with their experience and global reach, feels like the perfect combination for me.”
