SYKES HONORED AT KACF'S ANNUAL FUNDRAISER

iHeart prexy John Sykes was honored at the Kristen Ann Carr Fund’s 2022 A Night to Remember on 10/1 at New York's Tribeca Grill, which included a performance by John Mellencamp. The annual event raised more than $1m for sarcoma research. Kristin Ann Carr, daughter of Jon Landau Management's Barbara Carr and journalist Dave Marsh, died in 1993 following a battle with sarcoma. That same year, Bruce Springsteen performed a benefit concert at Madison Square Garden, raising $1.5 million to help fund an endowment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Since then, the fund has underwritten a dedicated sarcoma laboratory and 35 doctors to study sarcoma cancers. It's also nearly finished with a $10m capital campaign for The Kristen Ann Carr Center for Sarcoma Treatment & Research. More information is available here. Seen wondering if continued research could lead to a cure for HITS are (l-r) Sasha Carr, Amy Powell, Sykes, Barbara Carr, Mellencamp and Marianelly Agosto.
