John Mellencamp will embark on a 76-show North American tour next year, scheduled to run from early February through late June.
AEG Presents is promoting the tour, which has multiple two- and three-night stands, including in San Francisco (3/17-18), Las Vegas (3/24-25), Nashville (5/8-10) and New York (6/5-7). His L.A. stop is 3/22 at the Dolby Theatre.
For the first time, Mellencamp has a tour promotional partner, Turner Classic Movies.
Presales start Tuesday for Citi cardmembers, Wednesday for the Mellencamp mailing list and Thursday for Turner Classic Movies newsletter subscribers. The on-sale starts 10/7.
Beyond the tour, a permanent Mellencamp exhibit has opened at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and UMe has set 11/4 as the release date for a boxed set of Mellencamp’s eighth studio album, Scarecrow.
