PALAK FORBES HEADS TO AUDACY

Audacy has appointed Palak Forbes SVP, Digital Business Operations.

Providing commercial and operational leadership to the company’s podcast business, Forbes will also work across Audacy’s entire digital portfolio and partner with the podcast studio and sales team to support continued growth. She will report to Audacy’s Chief Digital Officer, J.D. Crowley.

Said Crowley, “Palak's experience launching and scaling innovative new businesses and expertise managing strategic relationships in the media and technology sectors will enable us to continue delivering robust growth.”

“Digital audio is in a really exciting phase where we have evolving audio formats and listening experiences as well as new ways of life emerging from the pandemic,” added Forbes. “I'm so excited to operationalize our strategy across the digital portfolio.”

Most recently, Forbes served as Head of Business Development & Operations at The New York Times. She’s also led strategic and commercial partnership teams for Apple News, helped digitize millions of historic photos for Google Cloud and held other leadership roles at Sesame Workshop, Viacom and HBO.

Forbes holds an MBA in Marketing from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Information Systems from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
