CHART FINAL: ED EQUALS #1

WMG’s Ed Sheeran debuts at #1 on the HITS Top 50 with his fourth studio album, =, which posts 123k. Two Republic blockbusters, Drake’s Certified Lover Boy (OVO) and Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album (Big Loud), follow at #2 and #3, respectively, as they continue to resonate with streamers.

While Sheeran scores the week’s biggest album, fellow Brit superstar Adele (also on her fourth studio set) enjoys the biggest song with “Easy on Me.” The lead single from 30, due 11/19 on Columbia, should surpass 1m in total activity in no time. In the U.S. alone, it's generated nearly 100m audio streams.

Following a Halloween weekend at the Hollywood Bowl for Dead & Company, the Grateful Dead’s Dave’s Picks Vol. 40 (Rhino) debuts at #14. Disney’s Nightmare Before Christmas and Michael Jackson’s Thriller (Epic) reenter at #22 and #23.

Streeting this week are projects from LVRN/Interscope’s Summer Walker, Capitol’s ABBA and EMPIRE’s Key Glock, along with heavyweight singles from Republic’s Post Malone & The Weeknd and Cactus Jack/Epic’s Travis Scott.

Now if you’ll excuse us, we need to raid the last of the kids’ Halloween candy.
