WCM INKS BAD BUNNY COLLABORATOR MAG

Warner Chappell Music has signed MAG, executive producer of Bad Bunny's El Ultimo Tour del Mundo, to a global publishing agreement.

Bunny's 2020 album made history by becoming the first Spanish-language set to top U.S. charts. MAG is credited on nine of its 16 songs.

“MAG is an unbelievable talent and exactly the type of producer we’re looking to add into the mix,” said WCM President of A&R Ryan Press. “His work with Bad Bunny broke down cultural barriers and has opened so many new doors for him. We already have big things planned to help raise his profile even more and can’t wait to get started.”

WCM VP of A&R Katy Wolaver added, “From hip-hop to Latin rock, MAG is a vibrant global producer who is already making beats for hitmakers across all genres. He is a creative force. All of us at Warner Chappell are very proud to welcome him to the team.”

Marco “MAG”—short for “magnificent”—Borrero is a Brooklyn-born producer with Puerto Rican and Dominican heritage. He was discovered and mentored by renowned singer/songwriter Max Martin. MAG has collaborated with Astrid S, Bebe Rexha, Nicky Jam, Rauw Alejandro and Demi Lovato, among others. He also produced and co-wrote Flo Rida’s six-times-platinum chart-topper “My House,” which has been streamed more than a billion times. Early last year MAG produced a batch of music that grabbed the ear of Bad Bunny and inspired El Último Tour del Mundo.
