After a nine-year career at Ingrooves, EVP/GM Amy Dietz has announced that she will leave the distribution hub at the end of the year.
The veteran executive announced her departure in a note to the company. Calling her departure bittersweet, Dietz said, "I'm proud of what Ingrooves has achieved and how we've grown, meeting and exceeding our potential every step of the way. We have accomplished much together."
As to her next move, she would only say, "I’m off to explore! Explore new opportunities, new places and new possibilities."
Ingrooves CEO Bob Roback commented, "Amy's contributions to Ingrooves’ business and culture are immeasurable. She has been a critical player in our rapid growth and an amazing collaborator, connecting all facets of our organization."
In early 2019 UMG acquired Ingrooves, which had experienced nearly two decades of growth in the independent-distribution sector.
