A day after being named the world’s top DJ by DJ Mag for the second time, French DJ/producer David Guetta took the stage during Sunday’s MTV European Music Awards.
Performing his latest hit “Let’s Love” with British singer/songwriter RAYE, who filled in for Sia, Guetta also accepted the Best Electronic Music Award.
In addition to his recent accolades, Guetta has helped raise over $1.5m for COVID-19 relief efforts through his United At Home live stream events, drawing in 50m+ viewers.
“Our industry has been hit extremely hard this year. Millions have lost work, and governments around the world have failed to acknowledge the importance of the music and entertainment industries. They require support just like any other,” shared Guetta during his DJ Mag acceptance speech.
