BTS PLAN EPIC FORTNITE EVENT, FULL WEEK OF FALLON

The K-pop icons have plenty of content for the Army to digest. After performing on the iHeartRadio Music Festival over the weekend, BTS and NPR dropped their Tiny Desk concert on Monday. Watch the set, backed by a live band, headlined by their hit single "Dynamite" (Columbia) below.

On Monday, Big Hit and Epic Games announced a special event within the massive online video game, Fortnite. At the Party Royale Main Stage, Fortnite will host the world premiere of BTS' new "choreography version" music video of "Dynamite." The exclusive video will premiere Friday, 9/25 at 8pm ET in Fortnite's Party Royale mode, the game’s no-combat social space where players can get together with friends to catch concerts, watch movies, or just chill. Following the premiere, players can enjoy a “Dynamite ” (Tropical Remix)” listening party with karaoke graphics to sing and dance along.

Players will also be able to purchase BTS "Dynamite Packs" within the game, which features two new emotes choreographed after BTS.

UPDATE: NBC just announced that BTS will make nightly appearances on Fallon next week. Beginning Monday, 9/28, the group will have a unique performance each night throughout the week. On 9/30, BTS will serve as the show's lead guest.

Earlier this year, Travis Scott broke records with his Fortnite event. BTS also shattered virtual concert expectations during the global pandemic, with their massive Bang Bang Con, which notched over 750k concurrent paid viewers worldwide.
