BTS SMASHES LARGEST PAID LIVESTREAM RECORD

Big Hit's BTS held their highly anticipated virtual concert BANG BANG CON The Live over the weekend. The global superstars smashed the record for the largest audience for a paid livestream concert with 756,600 fans viewing across 107 regions.

Tickets for the concert ranged from $25-35 with BTS Army members getting discounted rates.

With BTS' worldwide stadium tour canceled for 2020, BANG BAG CON was the next best way for fans to experience a live show from the pop phenoms. The event lasted 100 minutes, and included two stages along with six different camera views for fans to choose from. The group performed 12 songs during the set.

The concert was the first collaborative effort between Big Hit and Kiswe, a live streaming company in the U.S.

In April 2020, SuperM set the livestream record with 75k viewers for their event.
