After months of teasing new music, Def Jam megastar Justin Bieber kicked off the new year with R&B track “Yummy,” the first single from his upcoming album.
With the new chart rules intact, strategies for digital-media and video campaigns are evolving. Just ahead of the music video premiere on 1/4, Bieber revamped the YouTube thumbnails of his entire official video catalog to promote his new single with pink lettering that read “Tomorrow,” along with announcing a YT Q&A, releasing early exclusive images and limited "Yummy" x Drew House merch. The video is approaching 30m views in just four days.
A second "dance" video appeared Thursday; watch it below.
In an earlier-released YouTube trailer, Bieber revealed a 10-episode docuseries titled Seasons premiering 1/27 on YouTube Originals, giving fans a glimpse into his creative process, upcoming album and private life, while also discussing his health issues, including mononucleosis and Lyme disease.
New episodes of the docuseries will air with ads each Monday and Wednesday at noon ET. Fans can also sign up for YouTube Premium to get early access to new episodes and watch the series ad-free.
