THEY "LOVE" IT

Def Jam EVP Promo Nicki Farag will never run out of superb things to say about Alessia Cara or her song "Out of Love," which just snagged a gold plaque.

Speaking of plaque, the only gold thing we've gotten lately is a tooth. But we're told that's nothing to smile about.

Cara, who dropped a Christmas track the other day, is currently wrapping up The Pains of Growing U.S. tour. She just performed at the People's Choice Awards (11/10), and she's performing at The Latin Grammys Thursday night. Meanwhile, her song "Rooting for You" is Top 30 at Pop radio.
