IS IT CHRISTMAS YET?

We've been checking this website for the last four months to no avail. However, these projects suggest that yuletide merriment has indeed arrived.

Def Jam's Alessia Cara has released "Make It to Christmas"—a festive single about a relationship she hopes will last 'til her favorite day of the year. Another mistletoe-infused tune has flown in on Santa's sleigh, thanks to the Jonas Brothers' "Like It's Christmas" (Republic). And there's The Flaming Lips' "Peace on Earth" / "Little Drummer Boy" medley—out via Warner—considered an homage to the David Bowie/Bing Crosby ditty.

Columbia's John Legend dropped A Legendary Christmas: The Deluxe Edition, which features four new tracks, including a duet with Kelly Clarkson for a fresh take on holiday classic "Baby It's Cold Outside." The original set arrived in October of last year.

Jack Johnson's This Warm December, Vol. III (Brushfire Records/Republic) is coming 11/22. It features both original music, as well as beloved chestnuts.

Also set for a 11/22 release is Jam Jr. Christmas—a holiday album by "the world's first social influencer-driven, family-friendly music series," coming via Columbia. Songs here are sung by young Internet celebrities, who have risen to prominence on platforms like TikTok, YouTube and Instagram.

Christmas with the Stars and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (Legacy) will spread the cheer on 11/29. That comprises 13 performances from Elvis Presley, Tony Bennett, Doris Day, Eartha Kitt, Harry Belafonte, Perry Como, Johnny Mathis, Dean Martin, Roy Orbison, and Andy Williams. The music, though, has been reimagined with new arrangements.

It was also announced that an array of iHeartMedia stations—e.g. KOST 103.5 L.A., 99.9 KEZ Phoenix, Sunny 106.5 Vegas and 107.7 FM Ashland/Mansfield—have flipped the switch to non-stop holiday music.

Meanwhile, we continue to patiently await the arrival of songs like "Latke Baby," "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Kugel," "All I Want for Christmas Is Gelt" and "Little Dreidel Boy."
