WHO'S GETTING ZERVAS?

As we enter the third week of the biz chasing indie chart-topper Arizona Zervas, everyone wants to know how high the price has ballooned and who's left in pursuit.

Zervas' buzzing track has now become a surefire hit, as "ROXANNE" topped Spotify U.S. for four days in a row, with daily Global streams approaching 4m per day. At Apple Music, the track has held Top 5 for over a week. It has also been added to the biggest Pop playlists at each platform. By the end of this week, the track will be approaching 10m all-in streams per day. The sharp trajectory for this act and song is unlike any other in recent memory.

The fact that the track is resonating at the top of the DSPs—and now even popping up at iTunes—is inevitably jacking up the price of the deal and making it even more competitive, with rumors that the number is now approaching eight figures.

Two companies are said to be left in the derby for Zervas—expect the deal to close very soon.

Meanwhile, the buzz around Ant Saunders is building as well, as "Yellow Hearts" has entered the top 25 at Spotify and Apple Music. Many suitors are lining up for what looks to be the sequel to Zervas' story.
