Ahead of Rocketman zooming into the Cannes Film Festival tonight and theaters on 5/31, Interscope has released a new track performed by Elton John and the film’s star, Taron Egerton, written by Elton and Bernie Taupin.
“(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” will appear on Rocketman: Music From The Motion Picture featuring Giles Martin’s re-interpreted and re-imagined versions of Elton’s hits sung by Egerton. Martin co-produced “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” with Greg Kurstin. The new song plays over the film’s end credits.
The soundtrack comes out 5/24.
Elton’s in Cannes for the world premiere and come 1am, we're imaging the Croisette filled with drunks attempting to sing “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.”
