THE BALL STREET JOURNAL

I hope everyone had a “socially distant” and happy Memorial Day weekend! To me, this weekend symbolizes the start of summer. However, this time, I didn’t attend any BBQs, social events or see any family. For the first time in my life, this just didn’t feel normal or fun. I pray that this doesn’t become ANY type of a “new norm” for us, but we’re wise to err on the side of caution!

As far as music, Nino Cuccinello and Interscope have a few records on fire! Lil Mosey’s “Blueberry Faygo” ascends 6-4, gaining 445 spins. He also has DaBaby’s “Rockstar” shooting #18-13, increasing by an impressive 670 spins. Moneybagg Yo’s “1,2,3” comes in at #36.

Rick Sackheim and Dontay Thompson at Epic see Jackboys’ “Out West” (Cactus Jack) up 200 spins and sitting at #11. The Scotts’ “THE SCOTTS” are right behind at #12, and up 400 spins! Young T & Bugsey’s “Don’t Rush” f/Headie One (Black Butter) sees a very solid 230 spin increase and is now #16. Bia’s “Cover Girl” continues to develop, and they’re off to a solid start with Tiagz’s “They Call Me Tiago.” This is up 120 spins and is a few weeks away from a debut. They’re also doing a double impact as Future’s “Trillionare” f/YoungBoy Never Broke Again as well as Black Eyed Peas’ “Mamacita” both impact this week.

Over at Republic, Davey Dee and Garrett Ream debut Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber’s “Stuck With U” at #35. It was up 260 spins and is off to the races at Top 40 as well. Lil Tecca‘s “Out Of Love” comes in at #45, up 70 spins.

Over at RCA, Lori G and Inca see Doja Cat’s “Like That” (Kemosabe) exploding to the tune of a 770-spin increase! That’s good enough to take them from #31-23. They debut Chris Brown & Young Thug’s “Go Crazy” at #33 thanks to an increase of 560 spins. They also debut Usher/Lil Jon/Luda’s “Sexbeat” at #39. Mulatto’s “B***h From Da Souf” continues to grow. It’s up 70 spins and is now at #50.

Dixie Tipton and Capitol are impacting the Migos’ new “Need It” f/YoungBoy Never Broke Again this week. It’s off to a solid start, up 120 spins. Look for this to be among the most added this week. Lil Baby’s “Emotionally Scarred” gains 115 spins and is now at #27. Warner’s B Dot Scales has PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Believe It” f/Rihanna climbing to #7. It gains 400 spins and has its sights set on the Top 5. NLE Choppa’s “Walk Em Down” f/Roddy Ricch lands at #32, up 45 spins.

Geffen’s Lee L’Heureux has J.I The Prince of NY’s “Need Me” holding at #25 and is set to impact Rod Wave’s “Girl of My Dreams.” It has plenty of early action, gaining 80 spins and moving to #69.

Columbia’s John Strazza and James White continue to build Powfu’s “coffee for your head,” gaining another 250 spins and climbing to #21. StaySolidRocky’s “Party Girl” tacks on 190 spins to his total and is at #48. It has a shot to debut this coming week!
