Interscope’s DaBaby makes his way back to #1 this week with “Rockstar” f/Roddy Ricch, while RCA’s Chris Brown X Young Thug climb to the #3 spot with “Go Crazy.” Warner’s Saweetie shoots inside the Top 15 with “Tap In” (Icy/Artistry). Republic’s Pop Smoke will debut on the chart this week with “The Woo” f/50 Cent and Roddy Ricch. Epic has two DJ Khaled tracks with Drake that dropped, and “POPSTAR” should debut based on just 2 days of airplay.
There wasn’t a ton of movement within the Top 5 this week. It’s feeling like stations are holding on to the big hits a bit longer, as evidenced by the Top 10 records hanging out for an extra 2-3 weeks longer than usual. I’ve also noticed that the big hits may go down for a week or even two, but quite a few bounce back and regain their bullets.
RCA’s Lori G and Inca have their sights set on another #1 for Chris Brown X Young Thug’s “Go Crazy.” It’s at #5, up 800 spins and already at #3 on the building chart. They also have Doja Cat’s “Like That” (Kemosabe) moving inside the Top 10 this week. It’s up 245 spins and looks like Top 5 is a few weeks away for this record. Mulatto’s “B from the Souf” is up 55 spins and continues to grow and develop.
Nino Cuccinello and Interscope are sitting back at #2 with DaBaby’s “Rockstar” f/Roddy Ricch and I don’t see this one going anywhere in the next few weeks. Juice WRLD’s “Tell Me U Luv Me” is still growing each week.
Over at Epic, Rick Sackheim and Dontay Thompson have Young T & Bugsey’s “Don’t Rush” f/Headie One up a very healthy 350 spins and holding at #7. Black Eyed Peas/Ozuna/J.Rey’s “Mamacita” adds 275 spins to its total and climbs to #23. Tyla Yaweh’s “Tommy Lee” f/Post Malone is up triple digits and moves up 4 spots to #28. French Montana’s “Cold” is up 15 spins. They will have two DJ Khaled tracks dropping Thursday at midnight and both will feature Drake!
HITCO’s Michael Williams has SAINt JHN’s “Roses (Imanbek Remix)” gaining 590 spins and moving to #8. It’s also top 5 at Top 40!
At Capitol, Dixie Tipton has Lil Baby’s “Emotionally Scarred” soaring three spots to #12. This was up 210 spins. Right behind at #13 is Migos’ “Need It.” It’s up 265 spins and continues to grab sub power moves. Ne-Yo & Jeremih’s “U 2 Luv” leaps 9 positions to #27 this week! It’s up 155 spins. City Girls’ “Jobs” is just getting started and already debuted at #38! It sees an increase of 280 spins as new stations come aboard.
Republic’s Davey Dee and Garrett Ream see Lil Tecca climb to #32 this week with “Out of Love,” which was up 55 spins. They’re impacting Pop Smoke’s “The Woo” f/50 Cent and Roddy Ricch. The album sales were over 230k and the streams are just as impressive. Look for this one to debut next week!
Columbia’s John Strazza and James White welcome StaySolidRocky’s “Party Girl” inside the Top 15. It’s up 290 spins and the streams continue to be strong. They debut Chloe & Halle’s “Do It” this week at #37, which was up 365 spins and looks to only get bigger. They also impacted Jawsh 685 X Jason Derulo’s “Savage Love (Laxed-Siren Beat)” this week. The streams and TikTok numbers are massive on this and Top 40 has taken the lead.
Warner’s B Dot Scales sees NLE Choppa’s “Walk Em Down” f/Roddy Ricch enter the Top 20 thanks to a 110-spin jump. Saweetie’s “Tap In” is up 475 spins and climbs to #22. They impacted YFN Lucci’s “Wet” this week and came home with 15 commitments. Curtis Waters’ “Stunnin” is off to a solid start, receiving 13 adds in the last two weeks. The streaming numbers are picking up as Top 40 is getting airplay as well. Make sure you check this one out!
Def Jam’s Noah Sheer has his hard work paying off as Jhene Aiko’s “OTW” enters the Top 10. It was up 200 spins and continues to grow. He impacted YG’s “Swag” and it was this week’s Most Added record with 38! Look for this one to debut in the next two weeks.
Most Increased:
Chris Brown X Young Thug “Go Crazy” (Chris Brown/300 Entertainment/RCA)
SAINt JHN “Roses” (HITCO/Godd Complexx)
Saweetie “Tap In” (Icy/Artistry/Warner)
Chloe X Halle “Do It” (Columbia)
Young T & Bugsey “Don’t Rush” f/Headie One (Black Butter/Epic)
Buzz Records:
Pop Smoke “The Woo” f/50 Cent and Roddy Ricch (Republic)
Kid Leroi & Juice WRLD “Go” (Columbia)
Curtis Waters “Stunnin” (Curtis Waters/BMG)
Jawsh 685 X Jason Derulo “Savage Love” (Columbia)
YG “Swag” (Def Jam
It was neck and neck throughout the day, but Def Jam’s YG gets 38 adds on “Swag,” edging out Republic’s Pop Smoke by two adds on “The Woo” f/50 Cent and Roddy Ricch. Interscope’s Trevor Daniel X Selena Gomez pick up 15 stations on “Past Life,” as does Warner’s YFN Lucci with “Wet.” Columbia’s Jawsh 685 X Jason Derulo grabs 14 early believers on “Savage Love (Laxed-Siren Beat),” while Chloe & Halle’s “Do It” picks up 5 more commitments.
