As summer begins to feel like, well… summer, there’s fear of another outbreak. A number of states are reporting a big spike in cases. Please be safe, practice social distancing protocols and use common sense when it comes to being indoors and around large gatherings!

In music news, Interscope’s Nino Cuccinello inches closer to a #1 with Lil Mosey’s “Blueberry Faygo” (Mogul Vision), which is #3 on the printed chart, but #2 on the building chart. It was up 400 spins and the only thing that can hold it out of a #1 spot is label mate DaBaby, whose “Rockstar” climbs to #4 and is up 885 spins! On the building chart, he moves to #3 and it’s going to be a sprint to the finish. Nino also has Moneybagg Yo’s “1,2,3” at #30, as well as Juice WRLD’s “Tell Me U Luv Me” f/Trippie Redd at #45. This one is up 245 spins and looks to debut this coming week.

Epic’s Rick Sackheim and Dontay Thompson welcome THE SCOTTS’ “THE SCOTTS” inside the Top 10. This one is up 160 spins. Young T & Bugsey’s “Don’t Rush” f/Headie One is up 270 spins and moves up one spot to #12. Future’s “Trillionaire” takes a nice jump as he moves #37-29, thanks to a 225-spin increase. They debut the Black Eyed Peas/Ozuna/J.Rey’s “Mamacita” at #33, thanks to a 140-spin jump. They also debut French Montana’s “Cold” at #36. This one gains 135 spins as it continues to close out new believers each week. Tiagz’s “They Call Me Tiago” continues to develop.

B Dot Scales and Warner have PARTYNEXTDOOR’s Believe It” f/Rihanna at #6, gaining 250 spins. It will be a tight race to see if it can get inside the Top 5. NLE Choppa’s “Walk Em Down” enters the Top 25 while gaining 180 spins.

Over at Columbia, John Strazza and James White have Powfu’s “coffee for your head” f/beabadoobee at #16, up 70 spins. Look for this one to be displayed prominently on a national Dunkin Donuts commercial! StaySolidRocky’s “Party Girl” enters the Top 25, thanks to a 225-spin jump. Make sure you check out Kid Laroi “Gof/Juice WRLD. This is the label’s next big priority.

Davey Dee and Garrett Ream at Republic see Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber’s “Stuck With U” at #28, and Lil Tecca’s “Out Of Love” at #34 this week, moving up 5 and gaining 50 spins.

Def Jam’s Noah Sheer continues to drive Jhene Aiko’s “OTW.” It’s now a Top 15 record! It was up another 190 spins and the numbers continue to impress.

Capitol’s Dixie Tipton has Lil Baby’s “Emotionally Scarred” at #18, up 115 spins. Migos’ “Need It” has a solid week, moving #27-23 and adding 360 spins to their total. Ne-Yo & Jeremih’s “U 2 Luv” lands at #46, gaining 220 spins. It looks to debut this coming week.

Michael Williams and HITCO continue to drive SAINt JHN’s “Roses (Imanbek Remix)” up the chart. It’s now at #19, thanks to a 470-spin increase! Yella Beezy’s “Headlocc” gains 30 spins and now sits at #31.

Over at Geffen, Lee L’Heureux has J.I The Prince of N.Y.’s “Need Me” at #20, up 50 spins. He also debuts Rod Wave’s “Girl Of My Dreams” at #38, thanks to a triple digit increase.

RCA’s Lori G and Inca have Chris Brown X Young Thug’s “Go Crazy” gaining 585 spins and moving to #13. This one continues to gain momentum. Right behind is Doja Cat’s “Like That” f/Gucci Mane, which is up 365 spins and sitting at #14. They Debut Mulatto’s “B***h From Da Souf” at #40, which was up 50 spins.

Epic’s THE SCOTTS will slide into the Top 10 with “THE SCOTTS.” Chris Brown X Young Thug’s “Go Crazy” (RCA) will have a 500-spin increase and move inside the Top 15. HITCO’s SAINt JHN continues to impress with “Roses (Imanbek Remix)” (Godd Complexx) and will see a 400 spin increase. Look for Epic to have two debuts this week as Black Eyed Peas’ “Mamacita” and French Montana’s “Cold” both enter the chart. Geffen’s Rod Wave will also debut with “Girl Of My Dreams” (Alamo).

I hope everyone took this past week to unplug, reflect and do a bit of soul searching. It was probably the strangest week I’ve had in my 20 plus years in this business. This past week, there was very little movement and no releases, so this will be a short and to the point column.

Interscope’s Nino Cuccinello has two records inside the Top 5 and both are showing no signs of slowing down. Lil Mosey’s “Blueberry Faygo” is up 100 spins and moves to #3. DaBaby’s “Rockstar” is up over 830 spins and leaps #10-5! This definitely has its sights set on #1. Moneybagg Yo’s “1,2,3” moves up a spot to #32. They’re impacting Juice WRLD’s “Tell Me You Love Me” f/Trippie Redd this week.

Warner’s B Dot Scales has PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Believe It” f/Rihanna at #6, up 350 spins. The goal is Top 5 at this point. NLE Choppa’s “Walk Em Down” enters the Top 25 thanks to a triple digit gain. He’s also impacting DVSN’s “Dangerous City” f/Ty Dolla $ign this coming week.

Over at Republic, Davey Dee and Garrett Ream have Ariana Grande & Justin Bieber’s “Stuck With U” at #29. They debut Lil Tecca’s “Out of Love” at #39.

Right behind is Chris Brown X Young Thug’s “Go Crazy,” which is up 645 spins and moves up 6 spots on the charts. Mulatto’s “B***h From Da Souf” gets closer to a debut, landing at #46 and is up 75 spins.

Capitol’s Dixie Tipton welcomes Lil Baby’s “Emotionally Scarred” inside the Top 20. He’s up 150 spins. Migos’ “Need It” sees an impressive 410 spin increase and is this weeks highest debut at #27. They’re setting up Ne-Yo & Jeremih’s new “U 2 Luv,” which impacts in the next few weeks.

Over at Epic, Rick Sackheim and Dontay Thompson take Jackboys’ “Out West” (Cactus Jack) inside the Top 10. They also have THE SCOTTS’ “THE SCOTTS” at #12, up 60 spins. Following behind is Young T & Bugsy’s “Don’t Rush” f/Headie One. This one gains 300 spins and is looking to get inside the Top 10 in the next few weeks.

Noah Sheer and Def Jam have Jhene Aiko’s “OTW” at #16, gaining 185 spins. It’s quietly a big record for a number of stations.

John Strazza and James White from team Columbia see Powfu’s “coffee for your head” f/beabadoobee add another 175 spins to the total, landing at #18, while StaySolidRocky’s “Party Girl” leaps #38-30 after an increase of 170 spins.
