WHAT IT IS: Dominican Republic-born, Florida-bred artist Twin Shadow, aka George Lewis Jr., is a talented, R&B-infused multi-instrumentalist with a bold artistic vision. His third album—and Warner Bros. debut—was recorded in the historic chapel at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, which has been one of his many sources of inspiration in his new home after relocating from NYC. Eclipse is an album of heartbreaking uncertainty and anthemic longing and a soundtrack to self-doubt and desire, driven by the kind of unshakeable, late-night thoughts that hold the promise of sleep dangling just out of reach.
