Puerto Rican sensation CLARENT, who went to #1 on Spotify in Spain with "IA," has signed a global recording agreement with Warner Music Latina.
A native of San Juan's Caparra Terrace, CLARENT debuted in 2023, his rise receiving a boost from a collaboration with fellow Puerto Rican Myke Towers on a "Sport +" remix that charted in 15+ countries and expanded CLARENT's audience by 135%.
“We are thrilled to partner with CLARENT and his team to help build on his unique vision and take his career to new heights,” stated President of Warner Music Latin America Alejandro Duque. “CLARENT is a perfect example of how genres get disrupted and authentic sounds emerge and pave new roads in music. We couldn't be more excited to be part of this story.”
Warner Music Latina Managing Director Roberto Andrade added: “This isn’t just another record deal—this is an alliance. We crafted a partnership out of months of mutual understanding, collaboration and shared vision. For many months, WML immersed itself in CLARENT’s world, building trust and truly understanding his artistry, team and cultural essence, having as a result a deal tailored to not only amplify his music but to honor the spirit of his story.”
