UPDATE: Due to incredible demand, System of a Down has added second shows to its three previously announced stadium gigs, 8/27 with Korn in East Rutherford, New Jersey, at MetLife Stadium, 9/1 with Avenged Sevenfold at Chicago's Soldier Field and 9/5 with Deftones at Toronto's Rogers Stadium.
System of a Down has played fewer than 20 shows in the past six years, eschewing what would surely be lucrative tour in favor of one-off gigs at festivals like Sick New World.
Continuing that trend in 2025, the group will reactivate for three Live Nation-promoted stadium gigs on 8/28 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with Korn; 8/21 at Soldier Field in Chicago with Avenged Sevenfold; and 9/3 at Rogers Centre in Toronto with Deftones.
Polyphia and Wisp will open all shows. Tickets go on sale 12/11.
System of a Down, Korn, Avenged Sevenfold and Deftones are all managed by Velvet Hammer, who will continue to artfully dodge HITS' incessant calls and emails.
