TOOL TOUTS FIRST DESTINATION FESTIVAL

Tool's music may be dark, heavy and gloomy, but there's sure to be a lot of sun and fun to be had at the band's first destination festival, Live in the Sand.

The event will take place 3/7-9 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Royalton resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Tool will play two distinct sets alongside Primus (WME), Mastodon (K2), Coheed & Cambria (WME) and Eagles of Death Metal (WME).

Also on the bill are King's X (Miracle Artists), Fishbone (One Fiinix Live), Wheel (K2), CKY and Moonwalker. Live in the Sand is the first rock festival produced by Festication, which has previously promoted several EDM events.

Tool will follow Live in the Sand with appearances at several South American Lollapalooza editions, beginning 3/22 in Buenos Aires.
