SPOTIFY CELEBRATES KELSEA IN THE BIG APPLE

Spotify hosted Kelsea Ballerini for a release-eve shindig in New York on 10/24 in anticipation of her new Black River album, Patterns, which dropped today (10/25).

Ballerini sang for her supper at the Carlyle Hotel event, performing several songs and doing a Q&A with Entertainment Tonight's Cassie DiLaura. She talked about writing the song “How Much Do You Love Me?,” granting that it was all about her significant other, Chase Stokes, who stars in the Netflix series Outer Banks.

The CAA-booked singer will hang around the Big Apple long enough for an AEG-promoted Madison Square Garden one-off play on 10/29, with support from Aly & AJ and Tigirlily Gold. She'll hit the road in earnest for her first arena tour, which is set to kick off 1/21 at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

HITS has noticed Kelsea's other Pattern—avoiding our presence at all costs.
