#OSCARSSODOWN

Overnight ratings for the 88th annual Academy Awards, which aired this year on ABC, were the lowest since 2008. Still, an audience of 34.3m ain’t chopped liver. The Oscars are far and away the top-rated show on TV apart from the NFL, of course.

Time zone-adjusted ratings for the Oscar ceremony show it averaging a 10.4 rating in adults 18-49 and 34.3m viewers, down from 10.8 and 36.6m last year, declines of roughly 4% and 6%.
