Charles Chavez's L.A.-based Latium Records just signed a multi-year joint venture deal with Sony Music International and RCA. SMI Prexy Edgar Berger and Team Nipper COO Tom Corson formed the partnership with Chavez, who also manages global superstar Pitbull, to sign and develop new artists.
You may have heard of the roster's little Canadian band Magic! and their sextuple-Platinum hit, "Rude." The joint venture's upcoming releases include Toronto-based rapper Benj and and pop/rock singer-songwriter Heymous Molly.
