Sony Music Nashville has inked a deal with rising country talent Nate Smith, who just released a new song, "Raised Up."
The new track follows the poignant “One of These Days,” which Smith wrote after a wildfire devastated his beloved hometown of Paradise, CA. The overwhelming response to the song inspired him to take a month-long road trip to Music City—writing music and playing dive bars along the way—to pursue his dream of becoming a country star.
Soon after his arrival to Nashville, Nate released his biggest song to date, “Wildfire,” which led to a publishing deal with Sony Music Publishing. Since then, tracks "Sleeve" and "Under My Skin" have generated over 40m streams. Smith is managed by Kevin “Chief” Zaruk and Simon Tikhman with The Core Entertainment.
Spotify named Smith a Hot Country Artist to Watch for 2021. Listen to "Raised Up" here.
