Granger Smith just announced the release date for his Wheelhouse Records debut full-length, Remington; it streets 3/3.
The album follows his 4x4 EP, both of which were co-produced by Smith and Frank Rogers (Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, Darius Rucker).
“I’ve always thought of my albums as diaries of my life.” Some songs are easy and light-hearted, while others are painful and personal,” the singer/songwriter shared. “During this time, we welcomed the birth of my little boy, and we lost my dad. My life was such a roller coaster during my time writing and recording Remington, and you can hear that journey in these songs.”
Remington features a wealth of new material as well as hit single "Backroad Song," which is currently #9 at Country radio and #17 on iTunes' country singles chart.
Expect the smash's official video to be revealed on CMT's Hot 20 Countdown come Saturday 1/16 at 9am ET/8am CT.
Smith is currently wrapping up his national headlining tour. If you're in L.A., be sure to meet us at the Troubadour. Shots are on you, buddy.
