Over at Sony Music Nashville, Sarah Westbrook has ascended to the position of VP Digital Strategy, SVP Marketing Paul Barnabee just announced.

Up until now, she's served as Director Marketing, working with an array of artists that's included superstars like Carrie Underwood and breakout sensations like Cam. She'll continue to report to Barnabee in her newly created role.

“Sarah’s exceptional performance over the past three years has consistently been grounded in a hands-on, vigorous, insightful, and in-depth understanding of the digital marketplace and how to effectively reach and engage music fans in a meaningful way," shared Barnabee. "Her relationships with key digital partners, together with her experience and her vision for this role, make Sarah an extraordinary fit to lead digital initiatives across our entire Sony Music Nashville roster.”

By contrast, the only thing we're fit to lead are staff field-trips to the local Taco Bell.
