THE BALL STREET JOURNAL

Big congrats to Nicki Farag and Noah Sheer at Def Jam—they took Justin Bieber’s “Peaches” f/Daniel Caesar & GIVĒON to #1 at both Top 40 and Rhythm the same week! The track was up 780 spins and should hold for another week or two. Fredo Bang’s “Top,” meanwhile, climbs two spots to #20, and there’s a new DMX album dropping next week.

Over at Republic, Davey Dee and Garrett Ream have Pop Smoke’s “Hello” in position to go #1. It’s currently #4, up more than 500 spins, and #2 on the building chart. Coi Leray’s “No More Parties” moves #13-11, gaining 115 spins. There are a few tracks buzzing from the newly dropped Nicki Minaj mixtape; stay tuned to see what the label decides on those.

Capitol’s Dixie Tipton has Mooski’s “Track Star” jumping #9-6 this week with an increase of 440 spins. The song continues to earn Power rotation as it contends for the #1 spot in coming weeks.

Columbia’s John Strazza and James White see Polo G’s “RAPSTAR” enter the Top 15. Up 415 spins, this one has its sights set on the Top 10. Lil Nas X’s “MONTERO (Call Me by Your Name)” lands at #19 this week, gaining more than 300 spins. It’s also performing impressively at Top 40. 24kGoldn’s “Company” f/Future vaults five positions to #30. With a 155-spin boost, it continues to convert believers week after week.

Interscope’s Nino Cuccinello slides Kali Uchis’ “telepatía” five spots up to #16. She enjoys an increase of more than 450 spins and is also seeing a lot of success at Top 40. Right behind her is Morray with “Quicksand,” which is up 215 spins and simultaneously climbing the Urban chart. Moneybagg Yo’s “Time Today” is up triple digits once again; it moves three spots to #26. Having impacted 42 Dugg & Roddy Ricch’s “4 Da Gang” last week, Cuccinello scores a #39 debut this week with a 290-spin increase.

Over at Epic, Rick Sackheim and Dontay Thompson have GIVĒON’s “Heartbreak Anniversary” (Not So Fast) coming in at #13. They stack another 355 spins on his total, with the song looking to enter the Top 10 next week. They also debut DJ Khaled’s “Every Chance I Get” f/Lil Baby at #34, up 680 spins as radio shifts its focus to this track. I’m hearing they may still go after “I Did It”—featuring Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby and DaBaby—in the next few weeks. DDG x OG Parker’s “Rule #1” f/Lil Yachty continues to develop, sitting at #37. Sackheim and Thompson are officially impacting BIA’s “WHOLE LOTTA MONEY” this week. It’s already at #50 on the chart, up 190 spins with a very solid buzz.

Warner’s B Dot Scales welcomes Erica Banks’ “Toot That” into the Top 25 with a 245-spin gain. He debuts Saweetie’s newly released “Fast (Motion)” (ICY) this week at #40 thanks to a 530-spin increase. 2KBaby x Marshmello’s “Like This” just misses a debut despite posting an 80-spin jump. Majid Jordan’s “Waves of Blue,” which appears to be a few weeks from a debut, sees a triple-digit increase.

RCA’s Lori G and Inca are driving Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More” f/SZA toward the Top 5. She enters the Top 10 this week, gaining 445 spins. H.E.R.’s “Come Through” continues to grow each week; currently #45, it’s yet to have its official impact but is nonetheless up 115 spins.
