Baby Rose (Good Energy/Island/ Human Re Sources)

WHAT IT IS: Grammy-nominated Baby Rose, née Jasmine Rose Wilson, grew up with a mix of genres in her ears. The D.C.-born, Atlanta-based singer/songwriter/producer immersed herself in traditional gospel hymns, hip-hop, R&B, psychedelic, funk, alt, soul, jazz and folk music while growing up. Her debut EP, From Dusk Til Dawn, produced by Casey Graham, quickly generated a buzz, as artists like SZA, Kehlani and J. Cole acknowledged her talent. After inking a distro deal with Human Re Sources, Rose provided vocals on Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers III and had released a series of singles and projects on SoundCloud prior to dropping her debut album, To Myself.
