WHAT IT IS: Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Parker McCollum began building a following in his native Texas with the release of The Limestone Kid in 2015. WHAT IT IS: Brooklyn native Carlos St. John—better known by his stage name SAINt JHN—has been steadily working toward stardom since he was 11. Earning songwriting credits in the early 2010s for artists including Hoodie Allen and Usher, the Guyanese-American rapper, singer, songwriter, designer and producer dropped his rule-breaking debut album, Collection One, in 2017.
